It is believed that a large creature lurks in the woods of Thetford, Norfolk. Today this is known as the Brecks Bigfoot. Stories say that in the summer of 1986 freak hail and electrical storms and fog filled nights occurred in the area. On one of these nights a large four legged creature with a grey shaggy coat was seen amongst the trees. A witness reports that this creature rose up onto it’s back legs and stood eight foot tall. Since that night the beast has been spotted many times with others reporting seeing eyes shining behind trees.
Legendary Essex note: Checking the paranormal database, this ‘shaggy creature’ has been spotted a few times over the years in the forest. It’s first recorded as being seen on the A1075 between Thetford and East Wrethem, half a mile from the level crossing in June 1986.
