Michelle’s painting is of the 15 metre long willow WW1 submarine sculpture by her artist friend Deb Hart that was exhibited on Dovercourt Beach, Harwich where there was a mass surrender of German V Boats in Harwich at the end of World War 1. The sculpture made in 2018 was designed to decay and has since been reclaimed by the sea.
