Charlotte saw a giant fish eat another fish in the pond at Great Sampford!
Legendary Essex and Charlotte’s Mum discussed how very jealous we were that Great Sampford’s Red Lion pub has the chefs from now closed The Gate restaurant in Saffron Walden. The Gate has sold it’s land to property developers despite locals petitioning to keep it open and the loss of it’s affordable, delicious menu and the lovely outdoor garden is sorely grieved.
