The Wildcat of Wendons Ambo terrorised the area during the latter part of the 15th century and was legendary for it’s luminescent violet teeth, blood red eyes and incredible ability to wrestle with cattle, mutilate sheep, terrify the feathers off chickens and send farmers running into their barns for safety.
