The precise location of an ancient stone circle just outside of Littlebury close to the River Cam was discovered by Paul Daw after he developed a fascination with the rarrity of stone circles in Essex. He first saw of a reference to a stone circle near Littlebury and plotted out the points using dowsing rods then with the help of a few friends found the ten missing stones in various places across the village although his calculations showed that originally there were 11.
